I need to adjust my landbrake in the D2 whilst doing this brake overhaul. It was all renewed 18months/10000ks ago so mechanically it should be good.
I cant get my RAVE disc to load:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.
How does one adjust it,what looks to be a Series Landy style S cam on the back of the drum or is there adjustment on the handbrake lever????

Adjustment is both at the drum and at the handbrake cable:

Many people of discovered that the adjuster isn't where RAVE shows it to be. It's often on the underside of the transmission tunnel.

Mine was there. What a whore of a thing to adjust.Spanner wont go in there, deep socket is too long, normal socket too short.A uni-joint and normal socket just do the job,the uni is very restricted in its movement.
Landbrake now fully deployed in 3 clicks;);););););)

Landbrake.
Its a genuine Land Rover handbrake modification that goes right back to the Series One.For proof of this one needs to watch "The Antichrist" in action in "The Gods Must Be Crazy"

Once I was done with the adjustments and after a drive around, I got under the car to touch the brake drum to make sure its not getting hot. This will ensure the the shoes not dragging!:)
