I have been reading about fixing petrol tanks and thought someone might have experienced this before.
Red Kote seems to work but i read that using a mixture of Plumbers glue and cleaner also works a treat.( last 20 years so the chap explains )
This interests me because i use it at work regulary and i know it does form a skin inside the bottles and i suppose this is what you are looking for inside the fuel tank.
So if anyone has used this method it would be good to get some feedback.
Thanking you perry.

If you use the search function you will find what you need.

here's some info I posted when I did my tank.

I have used Back In's glue method - works really well. Clean the tank with caustic soda first,

Hi All
pleased to see my ideas do work
Just one thing
water it down with a little more primer
helps in spreading the mix over all the surface
keep moving the mix around coating top and bottom
until it skins
cheers
