Hi all

Only had the car two days!!!
So many questions in these early days - sorry!

Ive noticed a couple of times that once the car is switched off and I have got out and locked the doors the car lowers very slightly. It was turned off in 'Standard' height. The car definately drops, its noticed by sight and by the sound of air being released from the suspension. It does not drop all the way to access height and does not do it every time??? Any idea's??

Yes the car self levels, only a small amount though.

You only have an issue if a corner or end drops. Sometimes if this happens the car will still self level down every so often down to the bump stops.

My kids call mine 'Grandpa' who is also known as 'Grandpa pop off' for the bit of wind he emits:wasntme:. Yours sounds like it should be no stress and just auto leveling settling when the engine is started as Rich said.

I have looked through the manual and not found that bit of info. Why would it do that? Therfore should it not be level just before I have turned it off?

It was level before you got out but then you removed some weight so it had to re-level.

Don't worry about it - our D3 has been doing that for the whole time we've owned it and we've never had any issues with the suspension. I rather like the little sigh as it settles down for the night ...
