Warbirds Downunder

If anybody is interested in old aircraft, the "Warbirds Downunder" airshow will be on in Temora on Sat. 2/11/13.:D Tickets went on sale today and don't bother trying to book accommodation in Temora, it is all booked out.:( Unless you want to rough it.We will be staying in Young.:D Mrs Aus. and myself are looking forward to the show and a chance to give the Nikon a workout.:D:D

Might have to see if I can convince SWMBO that we need to make a slight detour. We'll be heading back from Tassie about that time. Might even be able to arrange some accomodation not too far away - used to live in Ardlethan and still know a few people there.

Would definitely love to see that - we don't get anything like it over this way. The only one of the planes on that web site that I've seen is the Constellation - it used to fly to Kalgoorlie every year or so for the Diggers & Dealers conference. Was an impressive sight (and sound) when it went up in the evenings doing low level scenic flights over the town & super pit when it was here - but haven't seen it for a few years now.

I would be going but it clashes with my Air Niugini reunion in BNE. It will certainly be a good show.
