Hi guys,
I've used a few different leather cleaners and conditioners on my Alpaca interior.
All quality brands and all required a fair bit of elbow grease to remove any grime or marks from them.
I use "Magic Erasers" Chux® - CHUX® Magic Eraser Range (http://www.chux.com.au/the-chux-range/chux-magic-eraser-range/magic-eraser-hard-surface-cleaner-8pk/index.html) for cleaning marks off melamine cabinetry in my work.
They work really well for this so I searched the net for any info on if they can be used on Leather seats and found so many forums topics in both car clubs and detailing forums all over the world and it seems everybody loves them. They do say not to use them too often or concentrate on a spot as this can remove the coating or colour but you would have to be really trying to do such damage. Just something to keep in mind while using them.
I could not believe how well they cleaned my seats! :o You use them with warm water and the water in the bucket turned brown pretty quickly. I did not have to rub them to get great result. Here is another forum topic on them: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is Awesome! - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum (http://landroverforums.com/forum/detailing-31/mr-clean-magic-eraser-awesome-23353/)
You can purchase them in Woolies for $5.26 for 2 or on eBay I bought 50 of them for the same price delivered from China!
50pcs Magic Sponge Eraser Melamine Cleaner Multi Functional FOR Cleaning S0BZ | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111118316031'ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649)
I will still apply conditioner after cleaning.
Great for cleaning your door trims where your arm makes it dirty and the steering wheel too.
Cheers Rich.
