howdy all, now as you may all remember I've got the LED bar all wired up and working via the switch/harness that was included in the sale. Now I want to wire it properly (by that I mean to get it to work when I turn the normal high beams on)
Question is, where is the best place to tap the power wire of the led bar into?? anyone got any guides or any tips? it gets tiring having to switch the bar on manually... (that and its not the proper way to have it wired!!!)

I used the high beam dash light wire behind the speedo thingy. Four torque screws and one clip should get you there. From memory it is the orange and blue wire. Will have to look up the wiring diagram to check. It was very easy to run a cable to the relay under the bonnet from there. This is the place the Land Rover factory driving light installation instructions used.

Are you running any headlight relays? That would be the most obvious choice. If you are not, then this may be a good time to install some.
Wire colours are in this post

If your bar is mounted on the bull bar then you may as well get it from the headlight end of the loom, where as if they are roof mounted then closer to the switch would make sense.
Whatever you do, do your connections properly: soldered and covered with heatshrink. If you are northside JayCar in belco has all the stuff. Crimped connections are the work of the Devil !!!!!!

ill probably grab some off jaycar... i've got the LED bar mounted on the front bar...
Does the stock harness of the 110 have relays for the headlamps?
I know the LED bar has it... I'm just trying to figure out where I can tap the + cable so that it goes on with the high beams.

G'day mate, the blue and white wire on the headlight is the high beam wire, just splice into that and away you go. I just fitted spotties to my puma but I made the mistake of using the crappy plastic connector supplied by the spotlight kit. I soon learnt that it was useless and spliced into the wire, soldered it and sealed it with heat shrink plastic tube.

Hopefully you didnt wire a LED bar into the headlight without a relay?

Just normal spotties, I followed the wiring diagram supplied with the kit. The kit does have a relay which I've mounted in the engine bay.
