Hi Guys.
Today in just driving around town in my 2008 defender the traction control and ABS lights came on. What sort of problem could this indicate or what should i do to reset these. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Eck

Hey Eck,
I had this same problem in mine, had it in a couple of time as both lights would come on randomly. They checked all connections between the wheels and computer to no avail. Eventually I narrowed it to the rear drivers side, I traced the cable and found it had broken free of a cable tie next to the hand brake drum and it had rubbed through and was causing a short. Cut and soldered the wires problem solved. Not sure about anything it could be though.
Cheers Lucas.

I had a similar issue on an 07 defender and found it to be the earth cable for the abs/traction control that attaches to the gearbox was loose.
