hi all ive been chasing down a oil leak on my tdi 98 110 seams to be coming out of the bottom of the cyclone piece that comes out of the rocker cover its weeping out around the bottom piece around the lip
above the hose then running down not a lot, done 500ks since the clean down but I can see it starting to pool around the top of the hose that feeds into the block anyone got the same prob cheers in advance

Have you tried replacing the O-rings?

Yep check the 'o'ring where the breather bolts to the tappet cover , also check both the hoses coming off it as they go hard & crack.

yes it is definitely coming out of where the barrel meets the join at the bottom of the breather itself its a after market breather don't know if landrover still make them it is a reasonably new breather maybe they all leak:confused:

Yes you can still buy the original cyclone vent for the 300Tdi. Check at your friendly Lr sales Dept or any Lr spares sellers.
