Does anyone know if the stop lamp switch on a non-ABS S1 Discovery is adjustable ? The haynes manual tells me no, but the LRO factory manual tells me, Yes !! The reason I ask is because I had to replace mine this morning, but when I installed it I thought that if u just touch the brake pedal the lamp switch should work, instead i have to press it in about 4-5mm before it works !!

How can you tell the difference between 'just touching it' and 4mm of travel ?

Do you have a micrometer built into your shoe ?

Sounds like it needs to be adjusted to come on earlier Matbor, shouldn't be too difficult, but then again, I don't know discos

Hi matbor, not sure but does the brake peddle have an eccentric pin and bush? If so you can then adjust the pedal height a little higher so it touches the switch pin.

My cruise control switch didn't work after I re kitted the clutch master cyl' and I could not get the clearance right so I glued a spacer on to the activator pin and it now works great. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
Any more airflow meters for sale I'm still after one.? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

The unenlightened see Land Rovers as anachronistic, as relics of the past.

We know that they are cleverly designed to allow the expression of just such Aussie ingenuity !

Thanks LR.
