Hi guys,
I'm trying to find a reasonable way to do lift work on my disco. In stock form it is capable of doing most of what I want it to do, but the previous owner has put a 10L lpg tank on the drivers side, which gets caught on a occasionally. Ideally I want something that I can raise two inches to give myself some more room on that side, but can then lower it to standard or slightly lower height to make it easier for my vertically challenged wife to put bubs in and out of the car when she has it and I'm not around.
I was looking at polyair red series, with a set of terrafirma +2 adjustable shocks.... decent or should I look for something else?

Apart from airbag suspension you cant lift and lower a vehicle on demand so i'd suggest a standard 30-50mm lift and a set of side steps, polyairs are for load carrying and not a replacement for coils.
Are you sure its a 10l lpg tank ? , would be pretty pointless at that size.

Diesel gas IMHO but probably 17 or 19 litres LPG capacity.

It is only a 10L tank, and yes it is diesel/gas.....
It really does get in the way though....
I will have a look at the side steps, which i wanted to do anyway...
Anyone tried the terrafirma adjustable +2" shocks? What springs would you suggest?
I wouldn't say it's carrying anything overly heavy, I was thinking something light to medium. I don't have a winch yet, and no fridge, tent is only light and not towing anything

Unless you get lifted springs you wont need + 2" shocks, even most stock shocks work with a 2" spring lift anyway.

Sweet so just the springs should do the job in reality...
Thanks guys!
