Hi I am up to putting my new rotors on my disco tdi 300 and not sure what strength Loctite to use. I have Loctite 243 but not sure if that will be ok , or do I need Loctite 272 or any other suggestions ;)

disc rotors? If so none, use anti seize on the grub screw and the back of the rotors. The rotors won't come off once the wheels on.
Disregard the above ^^^^^^

Disco I, not Disco II. Completely different brake disc setup.
Did they have any threadlock when they came apart? Correct torque is probably more important.

Just had a look and you are 100% correct . Completely different. The d2 system seems like a walk in the park compared to changing D1 rotors.

Loctite 270 is high strength. 2701 seems to be a close replacement. Probably any medium to high strength threadlock would do the job.
