Lovely kit. I hate to think what will happen to your mud flaps once you've fit the locker....

Install half way there.

Centre in, air line connected, diff guard on and prop shaft connected. Just waiting on new wheel bearings, oil seals and lock nuts.:BigThumb:

After 30,000k's the Ashcroft CV's and 1/2 shafts look like new. No burr's inside the CV's & not a twist or blemish to be seen on the 1/2 shafts.

It's looking great mate! Is it a difficult job to do yourself?

Not really, just nuts and bolts nothing too mind bending.....lol

Hardest bit was trying to lift the new centre up and in, while laying on your side underneath.

Looks great, just about ready to order a rear setup , how did you get around the Australian customs duty ?

Thanks mate, I might look doing this once mine is out of warranty - fitting these voids the warranty and I don't want to do that just in case!

Dock, I didn't, got slugged an extra $365 worth of duty and other associated fee's. What can you do !

Sandgroper, yeah warranty is voided but only on the bit you have replaced & nothing Ashcroft is going to break so who cares !

That's great to know, considering you give your svx a good working over.

hi, excellent set up, if you don't mind me asking what were the costs involved with this diff/ delivery?

hi, excellent set up, if you don't mind me asking what were the costs involved with this diff/ delivery?

Air locker, heavy duty gears, pegged, diff casting and fully set up.
$2400 to the door..
Compared to the cost of an ARB locker - then setting it up, the price is very good. Plus I got HD gears and pegging as a bonus

All finished, all 4 wheels back on the ground.

Just quick test drive today and as you would expect from Ashcroft's smooth, silent, engages and disengages without issue.
