Just tried to fit new disc rotors to my 97 130 Defender .
I was sold PBR088 rotors , but after trying to fit the calipers , it seems the new rotors are a 6mm different offset to the orig .
Can anyone tell me what PBR088 are for & what rotors I should have for a 97 130 defender ?

088 is the code for rear brake rotors for the year model of your Landy for both PBR and DBA brands.
087 is the code for front brake rotors for the year model of your Landy for both PBR and DBA brands.
Both of these are OE replacements.
Other codes apply for slotted and cross drilled versions.
Edit: found a link to pedders website.

Thanks for the info , The existing rotors are 297mm dia with a 55mm offset , and the new 088 rotors are 290mm dia with a 49mm offset .
So I am still none the wiser as to what is going on . Any help would be much appreciated .

Mark's 4wd website lists 2 types for 93-2007 , RDA88 &RDA7019 [ 298mm ] , I don't know why the difference , but I guess I have the larger ones .

I had the same issue with rear rotors that i purchased from ebay[rotor/pad combo], the seller claimed that landrover had two different options!!, the seller then replaced mine with the correct fitment rotors. 95 110

It looks like 087 rotors fit the spec of what I have , but they are listed as front fitment for 90 - 93 models . does anybody know if they were fitted to 97 rear ?

The DBA catalogue is wrong, and they don't seem in a hurry to fix it......
IIRC the 087 is the correct disc for the rear.
JC has listed the anomalies of the brake catalogues in the past, it's bloody frustrating....

There for ever going to be a great source of entertainment and frustration
My catalog says front rda86 dia 298mm height 70mm
And rear rda7019 298mm and 59mm high
Rotor height Is measured with rotor flat on the bench to top of the hat
