Being this is my first vehicle that has a mind of its own (computer and such). Does hooking up a maintenance trickle charger straight to the battery cause any major concerns..And 1 more while I'm at it does jump starting another vehicle straight from the defender battery ok, we had a crap load of problems after doing this to my sister in laws new mini..don't wanna go through that. thanks

I've jump started a few vehicles from my puma and have had no dramas. I've also had the battery disconnected a few times and have just reconnected it and not had any problems.

Hi again Dawsey, can you ask if the motor was running ALL THE TIME in the mini during the jump start?
