hello all, anyone had a leak on their A/C condenser radiator? I might be wrong but after changing the coolant last week I have a damp patch on the condenser radiator, I'm hoping its just coolant that has splashed on it, because it was green in colour same as the coolant I put in the cooling system. Also the A/C seems to be working ok , blowing cold, surely if the A/C had a leak all the gass would just escape, and there would be no cold air? Cheers ted

A refrigerant leak will be oily, not green.
Keep using it you should be OK.

Stone damage to the condenser is not unheard of. They use a green dye in a/c refrigerant to show up leaks. I would clean it up and keep an eye on it. A tiny leak can take a while to lose enough refrigerant for the a/c to stop working.

Correct, forgot about that dye that is sometimes used.
But a leak on a condenser will always be oily as well.
Stone damage is easy to see,a little water mixed with detergent will soon show up a leak, particularly while the compresser is operating.
But if the system is not working at all, don't use the detergent as the system may be in a vacuum, test the system pressure first.
