I'm still new to all this, I've owned my puma 90 for 8 days now... stick with me, this is not as silly a question as it seems on face value

I understand the addition of the 2nd row of seats, longer wheelbase, 2door/4door, and stretched roof-line, but interested to know where the differences between the puma 90 and 110 really are. Are there any rules to go by when looking for suitable modifications / aftermarket gear?

In a lot of other vehicles with different variants, its not a ground-up redesign- rather, they keep common parts between them to cut costs.

Is it safe to say that everything from the 1st row seats back on a 90 are different to that on a 110? By that I mean, the engine bay / front guards, dash, centre console, under-seat storage is all the same, but changes are made for the rear-half of the vehicle only? How does wheelbase change the chassis, mounting points etc?

Just trying to find some 'rules' that may assist in costly mistakes when looking for spares / upgrade parts.

Forward of the B pillar they will be the same over all three wheelbases. The only real difference is how much "stuff" is between the axles. The 90 also has a different rear axle, and I believe the spring hangers are slightly smaller, but all the suspension linkages are the same across all three wheelbases. The 90, 110 and 130 are all evolutions of each other so for the most part, they are all the same.

Aftermarket fuel tanks, water tanks are the most obvious trap i can think of, Cargo Barrier, not sure.

From my experience think of the 90 as a 110 with the middle door section chopped out. Interior stuff for the remaining bits should b OK.... But like mentioned there are some "underneath" bits to b careful of.

AS mentioned the big ones are underside tanks. And full length roof racks of course. :)

most parts are inter-changable you just need to get the right extension or reduction brackets. They come in either +20 or -20 inch sizes ;)

Thanks guys, that's how I pictured it. I've noticed most enhancement parts are suited to the 110, so it pays to know the difference up front. Didn't even think of the extension brackets, are these off the shelf or make it yourself?
My plans for the truck are a winch, rock sliders, some under body protection and then down the track a few things like additional fuel tank, and some onboard drinking water storage. Not sure how these mods tie in with the 90 model.

Congratulations on your 90. How are you enjoying it, & what colour & specs/options was it supplied with?

Loving every moment of it, been offroad most afternoon's after work, going for a wheel around Newcastle this afternoon.
It's got an arb winch bar, ipf spotties, led light bars on a arb roof rack unit. Have a cb for communication.
Factory goodies include mt tyres, the dual finish wheels, fold down side steps and ladder on the back. So it's well setup as it is, only need a few extra modes to make it very capable for what I need it for (camping and weekend trails, occasional towing.

I have a pic of it in the introduction forum.
