Mate I am not too familiar with the Td5 set up as I have only had Puma's which is what the air box was designed for.
Having said that I think that the Td5 set up is different and doesn't have the same ducting, which is the problem with the Puma. Hopefully a Td5 owner can clear it up. Cheers

The 2005 Td5 I had, had migrated to the air cleaner similar (in shape & location) to my current Puma. It was no longer the metal barrel type housing as earlier ones.

If you are talking about this one, then yes....

It will work on a Td5.

OK, just been talking to a mucher higher authority on Td5's and it appears that they do have the same sort of problem as the Puma's but the air filter box is in a different position.
If there are any Td5 owners in Brisbane who would be interested in working with me to develope sort it out, please give me a PM.

I presented my td5 to Nugget on Sunday arvo and here is the news some good some bad.
Bad news - the Nugget Stuff air box does not fit my TD5.
Good news - the td5 does not need an air box as it's ducting between snorkel and air filter is far less shonky than that on the Puma.
This is based on the safari style snorkel pictured below which has a male tube that goes through the air inlet in the wing to which a flexi tube is clamped.

What part doesn't/didn't fit?
I know the hole in the wing is the same size. Maybe the flex hose between the nugget airbox (attached to the wing) and the actual air box?

My snorkel has a hose tail, albeit a large hose tail that protrudes through into the engine bay where a large flexi hose from the air intake system is clamped to it.
I cannot really remember what the original set up was like but I think if your snorkel is like the puma ones then nuggets air box will fit you will just need use a means of reducing from 80mm to the size of the td5 pipe work.

Thanks for the update and info on the hose. I just got an email from Nugget regarding the setup.
If you have the Safari snorkel (w/hose adatper) or one with a plate and hose adapter, then his setup isn't needed. If you have the stock internal wing attachment (rectangular connection then changes to hose); then definitely get the Nugget airbox setup!
He really makes some inventive stuff.
Finally, butundede; it appears no one here has put one on a td5 (yet, saving my pennies, then will do a write/video up on install). It will work, but you'll need to reduce the hose to the td5 air box intake.
Cheers,
Mike

Yep jabber is spot on. I am still trying to find someone in Brisbane with a standard set up so dont be shy fella's:D
If I can confirm that my set up works I would then make an adaptor to join the hoses or work a way to replace all the current and have one hose going all the way to the air filter box.
Just need a standard truck owned by some one with patience and a bit of spare time!!
