Looking at an LED light and wish to mount it using the 2 spotty tabs on the bar instead of mounting on top of the bullbar top bar, anyone have them mounted like this ?

Closest I've seen was a guy with a 76 who'd used the aerial mounts but underneath the bar so it was upside down.
Looked decent.

You will find the led bar will no way match the distance from a pair of decent spotties.
I have a 42" 240w led bar up on the roof rack and a set of ipf xtreme ,s with 70w hid on the bar .
The spotties light up down the road a decent distance and the led bar lights up from the front doors out to the sides and forward ;)

I have never really got the need to see a kilometre down the road........my eyesight just isn't good enough to see a roo at 1km
I never had spotties fitted until a few years ago when a guy at work had a set of rallies going cheap. OK light but rarely used.
I have recently fitted a Rijidij bar with a 100w combo light bar, it puts out good light to the sides and enough out the front to pull up in time if a roo jumps out. Cheep compared to a set of FYRLYT's which I fit to the work utes. I have only really used it once at night for 50 or so km, the reflection from the road signs can be a pain. The other think I like is my radiator is open more than when a big set of spotties are sitting out front.
I have been travelling with work a bit which means being on country roads from 5am......I only see the roos when they are a couple of hundreds meters in front at the most (hilly windy roads) and have avoided them every time.
