Hi all,

I have a collection of Rhino roof bar legs and was hoping to adapt some to the P38 roof mounting points. Would anyone be able to post an image or sketch of a "real" one so I can see if this is a possibility?

TIA

Steve

Go to Rhino and look for RLTPRR legs. Download the fitting instructions.

Here, I've done it for you. :)

RLTP Leg Set - #RLTPRR | Rhino-Rack (http://www.rhinorack.com.au/products/roof-rack-parts/legs/rltp-leg-set_rltprr)

Don't expect any reply from Rhino when asking about kits to adapt other RLTP legs one may have. They don't bother replying.

The three bars just have to be level to each other and clear the roof by a bit so anything that fits that discription should do.

I should be quite easy as I managed to get an old school gutter mount rack to fit the mounts

Note that the P38 has a curved roof so if you go for a three bar set you will need to have a lower height bar in the center or use spacers on the front and rear bars if they are all the same type.

I have three of the Whisbar HD bars on my P38 and had to use a 15mm spacer kit on the front and another on the back, the three are now perfectly level.

Are the spacer kits available or did you make them up?

I have the same issue with my WhispBars

These HD spacer kits have three 5mm spacers for each end of the bar, I didn't buy them from the link below but a Google search will no doubt find somewhere close. Supercheap would also be able to get them for you as they carry the Whisbar range.
