Hi All,
I have an old rotating pintle I am restoring. I need a new pin for the locking lever. You can see in the photos where I have been trying to drift it through.

Anyone know where I can get one from? would also like to replace the retaining split pins on the chain

These people should be able to help you
Pintles - Dixon-Bate (http://dixon-bate.co.uk/shop/gb/136-pintles)
I'm sure that is the company that I purchased many small parts from about 8 years ago, but be prepared for the price :o:( very exxy, but if you want it to work, you have to be prepared to shell out the $$$'s, cheers Dennis:angel:

Thanks,
I have emailed them and they have asked for some clarification as to exactly which parts I need.

Hi Tomo,

Never had to buy that one when I was doing the Pintle hook so good luck. I think you will find that these are Australian Military part numbers so you may need to convert them.

Worst case you can send them the digram with the part you are after.

Dennis,
You would not believe it!
After a number of emails and with the help of Wallaby teds diagrams I worked out which parts I needed with Dixon Bates. After a few days I asked where the quote was for the parts and they advised he the parts are in the mail free of Charge! Amazing! :)
Here are some photos of the parts and the reco'd pintle.
Just need some 1/2 inch bolts in order to mount to the pintle to a hayman reece style adapter.

What a great result. It's good to know there are some genuine companies out there who take customer relations seriously.
