I was pressing a few "buttons" on the touchscreen today whilst I should have been paying attention to driving.
Anyhow the "normal" display that shows wireless, audio, phone dissapeared and a loverley pic of a D4 in a forrest appeared. The wirless continued to play without interuption.Next time I touched it the screen went black, the wireless wasnt affected, and the station details were still on the dashboard.
I pressed the steering wheel controls, dont ask which one,I dont know, and normality returned to the centre display.Any ideas what I did and where that D4 came from.Dont tell me this thing has its own stickbook collection of D4s that can appear for owner operators(*******) on the centre dash:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::coo l:

Screensaver. There are a few standard images available It's a menu option somewhere buried in display options or something. Can't find it again for the life of me either...

Now that is a new one for me.... When I get home I will look for it on my display and see what lovely images appear for my perusal.:D

Be a shame if a picture of a Toyota came up. You would then know somebody had a sense of humor back at the factory ... or you were hacked. :o

Only way I can get back to this is to push the 'Set Up' button on the centre console (manual pushbuttons) and in 'screen' - 'screensaver', there is a few different graphics options. I have the 'Landrover in the forest' selected, but I have never seen it go to the screensaver.

To get the screen saver to come up you select the power icon, bottom left on the touch screen from memory, not the one on the volume dial. If you select the power icon again from that screen it turns the touch screen off, but not the actual system. Good when driving at night so you get less cabin glare.

Mine has the screensaver option of a clock. Just what I need another clock. I did not see the pictures. I will have to "explore" again.

As said its the screensaver, press the setup button on the dash, as said before it then gives you a choice of screen savers to pick from & wot time delay you want.

Once setup on the A/V display down the left hand side at the bottom, it will have an icon which looks on/off icon, once thats touched, it turns on the screen saver.

The only down side is it needs to be reset every time the ignition is turned off and back on. Hope that helps.

I feel your pain, I have one on the rear passenger door...but bad, but bad enough to catch the eye as I walk past....& as my is a dark blue, its a little bit more noticeable.

There are just people out there who don't give a rats when opening car doors, I have been giving very serious thought to having the clear Scotch stuff put over the front, bonnet and all doors.

It's shopping trolleys, I'd heard that a few body shops have radio controlled ones that they tote around the car parks from time to time to generate a bit of business...:wasntme:

It is really annoying though, happened to me once, 2 weeks into owning a new car, at work. I'm pretty sure it was the MD given his blue car was next to mine and I had blue paint on mine, but no note or anything was forthcoming

I've got a dark colored one, Havana Brown, and you look at it the wrong way and it shows the scratches. Have a few shopping trolley scratches in it so far!!!!
