I'm trying to source (locally) a nre hub bearing lock nut and bearing for grover, but the ownder of it (my brither) has decided to have a tantrum about it, so i'm getting it from somewhere else.

Who would have one????? Parts places, industrial places???

They are reasonably close, but don't stock any parts for series vehicles, very usefull

I also need an exploded parts diagram for an AVM hub is anyone has seen one, as I didn't dismantle mine I don't know how it goes back together

are you typing with the sh!ts?

are you after a lock tab or the large (great big huge) nut on the hub?

well i'm grumpy if that's what you mean!!!!

Well one of both, the outer locknut and outer lockwasher were both damaged when the wheel came off, the locknut could probably be reused, the washer is just too mangled.

mine is from the early 80's

late 70's would be the same also I expect.

Thanks for that, it would be of some help if you did have some style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Give Four Drives @ Blackburn sth a call.
They do series parts. 1, 11A, 111
03 98900500
www.fwd.com.au
fwd@fwd.com.au

ask them if they can send you their catalogue. it's free and it shows exploded views of part fitting sequence. Very Handy for dismantling.

I've got their catalouge, although I never thought to look there for a hub diagram

i'll most likely be organising to get the parts from there on monday after all attempts to find one in the whole state of tasmania failed

I'm trying to think of the name of a bloke I visited outside Hobart a few years ago and who sold Landie stuff from his home.

I'll have to see if I've got his name and address on file.
