Hi Eevo and what are you going to use it for?
to see how many amps are going from the solar panel into the battery.
the one ive mentioned does this job well.

If you are only measuring current, you don't need a watt meter, just an ammeter.

Chop off the anderson plugs and get a new meter off ebay. From $12 in china or $16 in Oz, including postage. examples:
OZ E Watt Meter LCD Volt Battery Balance Power 60V 100A RC Ammeter AMP Analyzer | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OZ-E-Watt-Meter-LCD-Volt-Battery-Balance-Power-60V-100A-RC-Ammeter-Amp-Analyzer-/131243605951?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_V ehicles&hash=item1e8eba7fbf)

sorry, i meant i want to measure values coming from the solar panel.
measuring power, voltage, amps, their peaks and cummulation are important.

I wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Hi again Eevo and for something like solar power monitoring, they are fine as long as the current does not go much over 15- 20 amp, absolute max.
I have 8 or 10 of the original Doc Watts units and use them for every conceivable test going but they do not work all that well for current loads much over 10 amps.
The leads on these meters are way to thin and this effects the whole circuit when high currents are being measured.

thanks. my 80w panel doesn't get close to 15-20 amps. thinking about getting a 200w panel, which should be ok too.
