wiper weirdness

weird occurance when you unlock the car with the remote or dash switch the rear wiper starts to operate ! anyone have any idea

If you have a spare interior fusebox swap them cos that's the most suspect as the command for central door locking is on pin 7 of IDM and the rear wiper on pin 6(water ingress used to make trouble in there)... also the IDM gets input from the BCU so it's not a simple issue

just a follow up removed the fuse box (internal) with difficulty and this is what we found
after about 1 hour of cutting soldering and shrink wrapping the problem has now been fixed replacement box fitted new plugs soldered in

Didnt consider cutting the board apart and popping the pins out? ;)

Glad you resolved your issue - chase the leak down causing the problem or it will happen again..

And look under your flooring - probably rather wet under there...

No couldn't do that as the plugs were melted into the fuse box so i had to cut it out wire by wire and re solder new plugs on
