Found a broken rear drive flange bolt today on my Puma so I am going to replace all of them with ht allen headed bolts. What is the best way to hold them in place, threadlocker or spring washers.

Use a medium strength thread lock, tighten to 65ft/p.

Personally, I use both. I would also investigate why it broke, as this is unusual. Look for either overtightened flange bolts or loose wheel bearings, possibly close to failure.

I had taken the flange off,for a look in preparation to check the wheel bearings and was replacing the flange and doing up the bolts when it snapped with very little tension. I would say the reason it snapped because they have been on and off 5 times for diff centre replacement under warrenty and the dealers use rattle guns to do up the bolts.
