I have a 2009 Defender 110 Twin Cab & would like to know if anyone has fitted child car seat restraints ???

You might have trouble getting engineering approval if it is needed where you are. There are some good threads and a link to a not exactly legal but more than strong enough solution as a sticky in The Good Oil page of the forum.
I did the bar across the cabin bracing thing, works good.

probably not fully up to standards but all's I've done is loop and tighten the rear strap of the child seat around the two 10mm solid rods of the head rest. I don't need an engineer to tell me that it will be as strong or infact stronger than the pressed about 3mm thick clip that you normally clip too. Just make sure the actual seat is fastened properly. Works for me.

I had one made up and approved for my 2004 double cab, should be the same as the 2009. It is fairly simple, uses the bolts that hold the rear window panel to the tub.

I made my own isofix anchor points and used isofix seats. By far the best and safest option, in my opinion.
