We had an annoying little squeak develop in the back of my 110. When we picked it up from the dealer today they said Land Rover provide a squeaks and rattles kit to the dealers which involves removing the rear interior and fitting padding and tape. ;)
Result = no squeaks so far.
It was a very quiet drive home. :o

My squeak & rattle kit is located in the dash center between the power window buttons.
It's effectiveness can be increased and decreased at the simple turn of a round button.

Normally they don't bother me. I've driven plenty of old cars but this one was at a pitch that went straight through me.
It's gone now anyway.:D

Does the kit add the squeaks and rattles or remove them? I think mine is fitted with the squeaks and rattles fitting kit.

Would love to know more about this! I judge the condition of the road now more by the sound from the interior than the feel through the wheel.

...I was thinking more along the lines of a new 200 series land cruiser
(Did I just say that aloud?)

If the landie was as well-designed and built as the landcruiser, we'd have nothing to spend all our spare time fiddling with.... Then what'd we do - drive about the outback?

You betcha!
I wouldn't have it any other way. It's not the destination but how you get there.

Rather that opting for the 'squeak and rattle' kit go for the 'rock 'n roll' one - much more fun :D
