Hi Guys.
Been busy in the shed wiring up the D4.Fitting a Traxide Tronics dual battery system, the Redarc Trailer brake controler and wiring the Fyrlyts.
Must say Tims kit is a dream to fit.Everything the right length and the instructions are so easy to follow.
Im probably two thirds thru the job.All the cabling is done just need to finish it off tommorow.
Havent seen or smelt any of Lord Lucas' smoke escaping from anywhere yet.
Our spannerman from work, who is also an auto electrcian called by today. He was impressed with the DBS and the instructions on the laptop, reconed anybody could fit the kit!!!!!

Well I suppose that now I've got a bit of time on my hands, I should get around to fitting my Traxide kit. Bought it ages ago, but have never had the time to fit it.
Every cloud has a silver lining ............................ :whistling:

I wasnt happy bolting the isolator to the battery tray, also had to find somewhere for 2 circuit breakers(one is "in the mail") and the spotlight relay so I made a bracket bolting to the 2 exsisting M6 holes in front of the main battery.

Quite happy with the battery controler/spotty switch/Redarc.

I didnt wire the rear factory outlet into the DBS,instead I put an engel plug plus the supplied 12V outlet into the jack compartment lid.Wont be putting the jack in there any longer. Also wired my inverter into the DBS,it can live in the jacks position when not required.

Looking good Andrew, I haven't been able to do any jobs this break, due to a defender driver removing 15mm from my front right suspension. (AKA AC shoulder joint). Thankfully there is the cricket to watch.:p Just getting my arm out of the sling now, so physio involves carefully opening fridge door...;)
Cheers
Ron
