Attached are photos of the new grill I made for my 110 from scrap security door aluminum mesh total cost $20.00 $10.00 for mesh & $10 for plastic edge strip purchased from auto shop for door chip protection .
Have no problem with over heating temp stays at constant 80c in all weather conditions even on days 40+ in central Queensland

Looks good Brad, very neat job you have done there. And a bit more durable than the original plastic crap.

Looks awesome!
regarding that 80c temperature, are you sure 80c is right? The thermostat doesn't open until 83c .
Mine sits just below 90. Is mine running hot?

Thanks for sharing Brad, looks good enough for me to keep an eye out for some mesh to make one for my County.

Nicely made, but, I'd be a little hesitant to use it on a turbo'd engine.
If you calculate the actual open area you might be in a for a bit of a shock. ;)
