I'd like to know what sort of weight the blocks on each truck used to maintain drive traction are.

I worked on some very big loads (Land to sea to land again) but that takes the cake, the plait, all the cutlery and the table as well.

Perhaps the load should of been placed over the axels :D

Perhaps the load should of been placed over the axels :DThen the single drive may not have had sufficient traction to pull the load on the gravel road.
Note. The load was placed just forward of the trailer axle group.

He would only have needed a Land Rover to give him a tow then instead of breaking his trailer. ;)

He would only have needed a Land Rover to give him a tow then instead of breaking his trailer. ;)Or a stronger trailer.
Do people wonder about the lack of bogey drives in some of these places? I know that traction control on modern trucks can be very flexible (and increase payload) but a single drive with TC will never be better than a bogey drive with cross locks where there's poor surface traction.

Here's another decent size load, with plenty of support, on the move that I wouldn't like to stuck behind.

I would think they jack them up , them reverse the trailers under , but I don't know . It would be good to see how they get them up ? Without damaging them , be the same getting It off !!..Jim..:)

I think it may have been loaded over the first axel it looks like a broken strap or something hanging off the trailer (I could be wrong) but looking at the lack of restraints on the load I would guess its broken free when the trailer caved in.

If there was ever a case where chain restraints should have been used it's that load.

I reckon what you think are broken straps are actually clearance lights, there are four along the length of the trailer.

If they were ratchets they would be hanging vertically.
