Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Thinking seriously about getting one of these for our 110 Puma. Anyone have experience or recommendations as to a particular brand? Some friends have the Tyredog one, seems to work pretty well. Any thoughts appreciated.

I used to sell the TyreDog units and still have my original 4 tyre unit.
I found that with the very short wheel valve stems (as per go carts, about 20mm long) the Tyredog unit did not mark wheels etc. Also my 4 wheel unit works fine on all my wheels, and when towing a trailer/camper I move my front sensors to trailer.
I use it as an alarm, and have never relied on the pressures indicated, although they have been pretty accurate. They have caught 2 punctures, one on trailer, one on vehicle, and alarmed when pressure dropped below 20lb, so I was able to repair or change tyre before it was destroyed etc.

6 tyre units have a transponder (to be mounted in rear of vehicle) to ensure signal reach to trailer.

Good tip about moving the front sensors for towing. Rear and trailer tyres are the ones you most commonly see shredded, and you've got half a chance of feeling something wrong on a front wheel.

I bought a 4-set from Kroz Automation, Moorabbin before our last trip for $129.
Pressures are accurate when compared to Shell pre-set air stations.
Because the sensors are mounted externally, temperatures are not much use except for telling you the outside temperature.
The Low Pressure warning has a single setting for all sensors; that's a BIG plus if you are changing tyre pressures for different conditions. But the maximum LP warning is, I think, 25psi; a bit low I think for highway especially.
We picked up one puncture through glancing at the monitor when the pressure was still above 25psi.
Maximum pressure is 50psi which is ok for me.
Overall I'm happy with the system.
If running tubeless tyres, then I would look for internally mounted sensors.
