Hi all,

It would be listed by LR as 10amp max, but that would be way more than it could handle for any length of time.

Also the wires are pretty thin so a significant voltage drop as you increase the amp draw.

Has anyone tried running a 12 volt fridge off that socket?

Yes, I run a 50l Waeco off that socket ( no dual battery), but I pull the temp down on 240v overnight and then fill it before putting it in the car. I do not pull it down in the car as I do not believe it has the capacity due wiring.

I have run my 80lt Engel from there, didnt blow fuses, didnt cool as good as it should either.
Now have a Traxide dual battery system, the factory plug is now wired into the DBS making the plug live all the time rather than whilst the ignition is on.

If the rear one only delivers 10A, is that the same for the ones up the front, and in the second row?
Not yet fitted with dual battery, and doing a HUGE trip ( Sydney to NT) in the next week. Planning to run on 240v extension lead by night, but will the fridge (60L ARB) run efficiently enough off the rear, or will it run better off one of the fronts due to shorter cable run and less current loss.
