Hi ,
Pulled the rear discs off to service the epb and found one disc has three cracks inside of the park brake drum. So would like to know the best suitable discs to buy and where to source them . Will need to be delivered to Tannum Sands. Any one else had this happen?.

What brand are they?

That said, I highly recommend not using cross drilled rotors due to cracking despite these cracking in a different location.

X2 Dimpling is ok just not cross drilled;)
Id be interested in the brand as that is out right dangerous . Although id have a guess and say that crack is due to the park brake shoes dragging;)

It's possible that they could be dragging if not adjusted right, but on a D3 if you drive off the park brake automatically disengages, if it doesn't because it's stuck on as I have had happen then it really makes a horrible racket.

I only ever use OEM discs when they need replacing even if they cost heaps more than the aftermarket items.

Worth while doing a search as there has been a few threads on this. Having said that I got Brembo rotors and pads from buycarparts.co.uk delivered to Perth for around $500.

Howie that seems like a great price. Was that pads and rotors for all four corners?
