Hidden winch

Just wanting to know if there is anywhere in aus I can buy a hidden winch mount for a 2009 d3, and also if you know if they meet Australian standard.

I think you'll find that one is not from Land Rover.

It includes the Warn 9.5XP winch - and costs a bomb!

No doubt the D3 version is also available at a similar price.

Looks to be the same one as in the Bearmach catalog posted above.

I've not fitted it yet.

One thing that concerns me is that fitting these required removing the internal metal bumper reinforcement tube.
The Winch bumper replaces this at the front of the vehicle but this does not extend to the area under the headlights (which is protected by the original metal bumper).

I have a 2016 model and really want to know has anyone fitted the winch behind the bumper bar. I e hidden from view and only the hook visible? I do not want a bull bar but would like the ability to winch if I (or others) get stuck. Pics would be great and also any issues I should be aware of. I have an ironman winch from my last vehicle to fit.
