I know I can fit 265/60/18 but curious is 265/65/18 will rub, seems like a very small increase
Thanks

Only the tiniest bit of rub at full lock in reverse when tyres are new

What about the spare in the standard location. Will the 5th one fit?
I previously had KO2 on other vehicle and have on kamper, but notice they chip on edges, possibly due to highway speeds.

I second this.
Spare will fit deflated.

I had no rubbing with 265/70/17 at 803mm, so I can't how 265/65/18s at 802mm could rub, unless there's a width difference in the sizes (ie) one tyre is more rounded and the other is a more flat construction, taking into account tyre width is measured from where the tread begins, which doesn't actually mean that's how wide the tyre is, even though they are both 265s:confused:

Does your D4 have rear air? I've been thinking about moving up a bit in size from my current 265/65/17

James who posted earlier (#2) has rear air and has not had to touch it running 265/65/R18.

Hi All,
I have just put in the BFG KO2 265/65/r18. There seems to be a slight rubbing of the wheels on to the metal chassis on full rotation. The other thing is when I put my D4 in access height, it seems the front wheels buckle inwards abit. is this normal?

It's normal to have negative camber at access height

Thanks Discorevy. Didn't really had a look when I had the 265/60s on. Now i feel more reassured.

Ben

You might need to run rods if you want to eliminate your rub and then can tweak to the height that is rub free. Simple to install and cheap.

I wouldn't suggest running rods full time personally. As James said he has the same when his were brand new. Not an issue now. Put a few Ks on them an you be fine. [emoji4]

It does look great ay. The extra profile might come in handy for soft sand driving I reckon.

Well I've just bought a set of 5 265/65 K02's to throw over my new (slightly used) compo's.
With my GOE rods (currently set to -20mm) i'll find out soon enough whether they rub!
Keen to see how they are at 14PSI on the beach.
