On the way home from a trip towing my van I got the break pad warning message

i found this strange as I had just got the front done before I left and the back a month or so earlier than that

LR did the back and an independent did the front. I have read in the forum it may be the sensor, probably from the front

My new van has disc brakes and they were making a fair bit of noise. I asked the makers of the van a week or so ago and they say they are ok, not to sure.

Now for the strange bit, when I disconnected the van the message went away, or at least at the moment.???

Do you have GOE wheels by any chance????
I found one of my sensor wires(left front) rubbing on the inside of the rim,a stick must have got it.Hadnt rubbed thru yet. There is a scratch mark on the rim where it was rubbing.

I have been reading some brake controllers are not too compatible with certain van disc brakes.

I have a Tekonsha P3 and it is OK. I believe the problem is with the REDARC controllers and DISC brakes.
