Whenever my Perentie drives into a drop-off like a creek-bed a metallic groan appears to come from the front driver's side. I have had it checked by a mechanic but nothing was found.
Any experience with this or next best, any theories?
Thanks in advance to all that respond.

It could be a few things, Suspension bushes wear, panhard rod, front radius rod, coil spring dislocated or broken, shockie rubbers u/s. Get underneath and check them all out. Process of elimination I am afraid!!!!

I have looked underneath but can't anything obvious. I would hope my mechanic did the same (but with more knowledge than I).
I was hoping it was something common and someone could save me some drama.
I think I will get my wife to drive while I walk close by (risk acknowledged!) and maybe we can pin point it that way.

Those little "Action Cams" are dirt cheap now, Maybe mount one of these under the truck and drive around a bit then replay the footage from the cam to see what the problem is.[thumbsupbig]
