Hi guys
Driving home last night with the A/C on as it was a wet night and we needed to demist due to the superior weather sealing on the Puma, all good [smilebigeye]
However today the fan will not work, either in stand alone or with the A/C. The A/C compressor engages when you press the A/C button, the little lamp in the button comes on but no air circulates. I have checked the fuses in the primary and secondary fuses boxes and all seem fine.
What else might cause this situation?

Maybe check the plug on the fan motor hasn't come out. If no joy there, check the wires on the back of the fan switch.
Do you own a multimeter?

Yup got a multimeter. Not so keen on pulling the dash apart though :-(

Maybe you won't have to. The fan motor is in the engine bay, so nice and easy to get at. I'd check there for voltage first.

Might just have to wait for his torrential rain in the Sydney area to stop long enough to have a look, even my shed is flooded. [bigsad]

Had a chance to look at the fan motor today, plug was secure. No time to check anything else as we needed to head out. About 5 mins down the road it started working again. Given this situation I guess it is a loose connection, though the plug into the fan unit was fine. Any other thoughts?

Only other likely thing would be the resistor pack on the fan. They're known for packing it in. Its what gives low and medium speeds.
If the fan still works on high speed then this could be it.

Thanks Beery
It's working on all speeds which seems odd!
