In light of the incorrect hose being sent, on my belief on what I had.
Any way of telling if your Radiator is, S1, S2,S2A or S3 type.
Pics would be good.
Thanks.

Are the inlet and outlet of the radiator, the same OD as the motor inlet and outlet, on your 73 S3.

Disclaimer....it is a NZ landy, I know the air filters were different between aus/nz SIII's....so maybe the radiators were too?????

Is the bottom inlet of the radiator straight out, 90 to the Radiator, or angled upward.
Top the same angle as bottom ????
Thanks

From memory...the bottom outlet of radiator is angled down and to the drivers side. The bottom hose was 'v' shaped, going down from the outlet, doing a 45deg turn and up to the pump.

Top outlet on radiator is straight out, 90deg to radiator. Hose is horizontal toward motor...then 90deg turn downward toward water pump.

my 4 cyl radiator top hose is straight out middle.
bottom hose comes out RHS
and turns 90 deg to driver side.
bottom hose is boomerang shape.
online there is a lower hose to suit radiator with straight fitting often refered to as holden radiator.
also a radiator with fitting on the lower left side straight and 90 degree-often advertided to suit other engines.
my radiator purchased as britpart 3 core and original fan cowl not fitting.

4th on, same as other two flat top ones, 90' bend for over flow.
At the Radiator shop, to see if its ok as its the best one.
S3 hoses.
If anyone needs them pm me.
