I have recently purchased a 2012 Discovery SDV6 and am getting the "Passenger Airbag off warning message" coming up in the panel next to the drivers heater temp control. I looked in the manual supplied with the vehicle and it says to turn the switch in the passenger side of the dash panel. My vehicle does not have this switch, a blanking panel is fitted in its place.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is it permanently lit, or only when starting the vehicle? It's normal to display at startup, but not normal for it to remain on extended periods. The disable option is only available to European models so it being permanently lit would indicate a fault in my opinion.

My panic when I bought my 2012. ADRs prevent fitment of the switch, ignore it!

All warning lights illuminate at startup to tell you that the globe is not blown. They should then all turn off. If you then don't see a familiar warning light at startup you should assume the glove has blown
