A couple months back I got some km2's for the defender 90, 285x75r16s on king 16x8 on 0 offset. Trying to get them balanced is proving difficult, does anyone know a place in or around ipswich that can do a decent balance with a finger plate?

Finding someone with the 5 on 165 finger plate will be your challenge.

The balancing plate for lugs are usually adjustable for any bolt pattern.

What you can do is bring in a spare hub and they can put that on the cone.

Yes, and the hub idea is a good one.
Most multi setting finger balance plates don’t go big enough (or at least never did in the past)

Never mind the bollocks

Tire/Tyre Balancing Beads- 245/75R16, 245/70R16, 235/75R15, 265/70R17, 225/75R15 | eBay (https://m.ebay.com/itm/Tire-Tyre-Balancing-Beads-245-75R16-245-70R16-235-75R15-265-70R17-225-75R15/290858043942?hash=item43b87d8a26:m:mHAdnTkLruLXzA2 rHXxvu-Q)

I’ve had good success on hard to balance hoops
With 100gm of this then spin it up on the balancer if more is needed

SDitto, using similar beads.

The Mach V rims I used are hard to attach weights to, the tyre beads solved the issue.

They go inside the tyre

These are the ones I used Counteract Balancing Beads | The only tire balancing product proven to improve fuel economy. (http://www.counteractbalancing.com/)
I can't recall how much now, but we had to add extra to get the tyres balanced properly

Tried the beads on the D4.
Biggest disaster ever!
Removed and conventional balance and all was good...

Seems mileage may vary!

Air soft pellets are cheap and work as well.
