Can anyone recommend a fitting to run a breather line on the fairey? I have no idea how to source a suitable threaded hose connector. I have heaps of 5mm pipe, just unsure how to connect it to the top plate. There must be a suitable threaded joiner somewhere?????!!!!
I see others run a connected breather to the transfer box also. Is this necessary?

For stuff like this I usually takes the bits I have to Enzed & they help me find the bits.:)

I drilled out the pin size breather on the top plate and tapped the plate and screwed in a barbed fitting. This allowed me to keep the baffle on the underside of the top plate. Run a long breather or put an in-line filter in it to stop oil getting pushed out, otherwise it will empty itself.

Same, I drilled it out and tapped to BSP, used a few brass pipe fittings to offset it to clear the centre tray, and just raised it about three inches with an axle breather on top. No longer chucks the oil out.
