I'm pretty sure it says on the bottom side of your sun visor.
Something like 1940mm, but it also may give you the height with the roof rails(if fitted) and the sunroof(if fitted) too.

Thanks iam sitting at 1940mm but my disco seems higher, was told it was on 2" lift ,but distance from top of Tyre to wheel arch is quite large compared to other discos i have seen about the place

Could be an illusion tho, eg. if the other discos are running larger tyres.

eg. fit a 245/75, and it fills the wheel arches a bit more.
D2s can run 265/75 (I think) without too much trouble.

I find 235/70's are just a touch too small for a Disco.

On my V8(D2) it came with 255/55/18's and I replaced them with 265/60/18's.
So now it sits higher, but looks lowered due to the tyres filling the arches a bit more.

My D2a has 235/70 on and shows 825 to 830mm at the wheel arch, my next set of tyres will be slightly larger to reduce the speedo error, that’s at about 4 kmh slow now.

My son, the 20 hour learner driver, tried to drive into a Macca's car park. Car par height is 1.8m. I had to reverse slowly back into the traffic.[bighmmm]

Ah we learn. I had to check the sun visor as well.

With lift and roof rack on the D1, we're just under 2.1m

My D1 runs 255/70 16's and speedo is just about spot on perfect, but odo was about 8% less indicated than actual, and now works out to 6% error(less on odo than actual).
But speedo is still about the same as before. I've now done near on 50K klms on those 255/70 tyres.

Brother's D2 runs 245/75 16's. Speed error is about 4km/h, but shows lower than actual. have to keep reminding self about this to not get caught.
Haven't worked out his odo error difference.

Need to get him one of those Hunter Di speed correctors one day.

Yet to measure the height of my D1(or D2).
D1 has a GME aerial which is my 'carpark' guide.
D2 has SLS, has been sitting for just over 12months, and looks like it's loaded with a ton of stuff. So currently it's about about 1.8m to the roofline [biggrin]
