Td5 water pump

Hi guys, looks like my td5 defender needs a new water pump. Anyone done one recently? Big job? Expensive???!

DIY is cheap allow a day if your ok on the tools..
You’ll need a few other bits as you take some stuff off to get to it easily.

Intake hose out of the way , serpentine belt off ,4 bolts to move a/c compressor forward, 3 bolts on rotor filter housing, 2 nuts for oil return on sump, remove housing, bottom hose off , 5 bolts to remove water pump housing, remove water pump , clean , clean again, fit genuine pump , reassemble with new oil rotor housing 0 ring and return pipe gasket, more than 4 hours r and r ?.........dcm[biggrin]
