Broken fpr hose connector

Hi,
Has anyone had a broken fpr quick release connector?
We had one blow off yesterday, it's the hose that runs back to the tank on the chassis rail, how do you put a new end on it?

You can repair them by replacing the connector but it is a fiddle and probably have to get a whole new line to get the connector if you don't have one handy.
It is possible to take the QR connector from an old FPR hose.
You will find it easier to remove the line back down to the chassis and work on it from the side of the car rather than through the engine bay.
There are Youtube vids of home repairs using a flaring tool clamp, corking gun and some make shift dollies.
The rubber line is actually an insulating sheath and the actual line inside this is nylon.

I have a complete line set (paired supply/return) with connectors you can PM if any help to you.

The wider part goes over the groove in the fuel line,I had too grind it down thinner too fit in the small slot that is already there, then the other end goes along the steel barb coming out of the fpr and a hose clamp goes around this, seems to be working ok so far anyway.
