Has any one had the problem of leaves being caught under the mudguards? They get down the drain channels under the bonnet (see picture). Any idea on how to remove them?138689

D3 or 4, only way to get them out is to remove the plastic inner guard.

I recently replaced all four mudguards after I found that all four steel brackets in the mudguards had rusted out. When removing the old mudguards I found the area behind them and up inside the guard filled with (dry) leaves. An old plastic coated steel coat hanger allowed me to get it all out. Can’t do much about getting them back in, but I will be checking behind the mudguards every 6 months, oh and not parking under trees...
