Where can i buy a new circuit board or a whole new key .or can i buy second hand and get it programmed to my disco. or can i disarm the horn

If it’s the little button that’s broken off - you can get a kit on eBay. Solder the new bit on and fit in the new case.

If you got a genuine new key remote how do you program it to your car.:imwithstupid:

There should be a piece of paper stuck to the circuit board with a code on it.

A Nanocom can then be used to add this code to the codes in the ECU.

Hawkeye will work only with the long barcode supplied with new keys not with the short one from inside, i've seen posts where the code generator worked but i've tried twice with hawkeye without success so it's a lottery, i mean this: 140460

I had the same problem when i bought my D2, I bought 2 switches from jaycar cost 1.90 soldered them. Fixed it but it tends to only work when the key is right next to the car window but hey better then the alarm going off every time. Also better then $700 from Land Rover or $300 for something from the UK options.
