I see there are a few articles on Defender sound suppression but has anyone used the kit from the nkgroup site below ?
Also welcome any comments / recommendations on underbody coating products. Eg a product called Lizard skin.

thanks

Haven't actually used any of the NK stuff, but have seen it advertised in LRO and other mags.
Looks good quality, with some actual thought behind the application of each of the various products and some knowledge of acoustic theory and the relevant application to Land Rovers and other cars.
If I was in the UK, I'd consider buying it, but with a bit of searching you can find suitable local equivalents.
Same with the lizard skin, I think you can locally get rhino liner or raptor liner which are the same sort of thing. Someone on here has sprayed rhino liner on the underside of the wheel arch liners which is what I assume you're thinking of?

Don’t know about the rest of the kit but I have their engine blanket fitted, have had it for several years and makes a huge difference.

I also have the engine blanket. Not impressed with the outer fabric used. I have a couple of small rips in it already. The images on UK website show a black canvas used, looks shiny. Aus supplier provided it in flat grey [emoji848]

I positioned it half between engine and bulkhead, with remainder folded over top of engine. On my TDI it makes a difference for sure, not huge, but pleasant.
