Since fitting the Mitch Hitch the sensors whale every time I select reverse.
If I could find out how to turn off the sensors I would. Alternatively can anything be done with the sensors to stop all the noise.
I know I can turn it off via the button but this is quite onerous.

Apparently you can turn them slightly and they won't pick up on it.
Our '16 D4 will only pick the Mitch hitch up every so often, so I haven't bothered messing with it.

No, don't touch the sensors. Simply go to Bunnings and buy a pack of clear surface protectors like these Madico 13mm Clear Round Vinyl Bumper Pad Surface Protectors - 24 Pack (https://www.bunnings.com.au/madico-13mm-clear-round-vinyl-bumper-pad-surface-protectors-24-pack_p3961714)
Clean and dry the sensors, then take one protector and cut it in half with a razor blade. On the two inboard sensors only, place the half protector on the side of the sensor closest to the Mitch Hitch. Put the remaining protectors in a safe place that you will remember because you will only ever need to replace them once every year or two.

Why do they need to be clear?

Why do they need to be clear?
Tia,
Dunno. If opaque they would probably set them off like dirt does. But the clear ones seem to fool them into thinking that nothing is in the way.

Why do they need to be clear?
Tia,
They do not have to be clear but the one mentioned - they ones that are proven to work - only come in clear [thumbsupbig]
