Hello,
Well tracked down a faulty inner left rear parking sensor.... LR want $600 to replace! year right!
anyway, looking around for a single sensor.... best locally (WA) is $170. nice, that is a solid price! Can anyone point me in the right direction for purchasing one? - also confirming part number is LP038533P ?? for 2011 Disco 4 HSE
Also assume bumber off to get the sensor?
on another front - I bought an electronic copy of the workshop manual...but noticeably absent part numbers! any help on this one?
Thanks

Microcat for part numbers.
I’d be ringing a wrecker for the sensor.

I've seen in another thread on here that the front sensors are commonly used across many models and you can get the Ford version much cheaper.
I'll assume the same applies for this rear one. Looking in Microcat the Assembly identifier for the LR038533 rear sensor is 15K859. If you search for that you'll find Ford rear sensors that look identical (the connector seeming to be the main variation) for much less money.
Edit - this one specifically states compatibility with D4: PDC Parking Sensor For Land Rover Range Rover Sport Discovery 4 Freelander 2 826962974674 | eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PDC-Parking-Sensor-For-Land-Rover-Range-Rover-Sport-Discovery-4-Freelander-2/112841737116?hash=item1a45e4439c:g:1jkAAOSwbdFalm-u)
$10 !

Now how do you get the old one out and focus the new one, without taking the bumper off?

Part number is actually LR038533.
Thanks. I’ve corrected the typo in my post above.
Still reckon it’s worth considering buying a Ford branded sensor
